Vintage Cartier Mini Tank Americaine, Circa 1990
Super little 18ct gold quartz vintage wristwatch on a leather strap and with 18ct gold buckle, blue Cabochon winding crown and 'secret signature' at 7 on the dial.
Cartier tank watches, around since 1917 in various iterations were famously worn by the likes of Jackie O' Nassis and Princess Diana and are still coveted in all their forms today. The Tank Americaine version, with its straight back and elongated sides was an elegant offering launched in 1989, and at the time only made in precious metals.
This little watch measures 28mm in length and just 14mm. She looks perfect stacked with other bracelets or perfectly stylish on her own.
She's running quite happily, and is in good preloved condition with some wear from the the previous owner.
